We are actively mitigating a recently disclosed vulnerability (the "copy fail" CVE) in the Linux kernel, affecting components of our infrastructure. Patching is underway across our fleet.

Our system administrators have identified the cause of the connectivity issues seen, and have deployed a fix to restore database connectivity. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

The issue affecting connectivity via chi.uk2.net has now been fully resolved. All affected services are operating normally.
